Ho Ho Ho from Masham Gallery!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I think the festive period is close enough now for me to say that. The recent weather has certainly provided a picturesque setting (incidentally we hope none of you got stuck anywhere last week), and now that the roads have cleared it seems everyone is out trying to get their shopping done before another load of snow comes!

Here at The Gallery we have plenty of fantastic gift ideas, large and tiny, so if you manage to dig out your car and fancy a visit, why not drop by and admire our amazing Christmas window display (in case you were wondering, it’s not real snow. Its polystyrene.)

If you are stuck for pressie ideas this year, here’s a few of my favourite items currently in stock here…..

Lovely little stocking fillers from Stockbridge Ceramics, ceramic buttons £1.20 each

These are the Christmas decorations of choice in Masham this year, handmade by Local artist Charlotte Morrison. Ceramic angel £4.50

Everyone needs these, especially this year! Handmade felt slippers by Shirley-Ann Collier £28

I hope thats got some ideas generating!

If you haven’t visited us recently and were planning a trip to this area soon, don’t forget that our winter exhibition, ‘Home’ by printmaker Hester Cox, is still on show until New Years Eve. The show, which explores the nature, landscapes and seasons of Britain has been a great success so far, and is another source of inspiring gift ideas – make sure you see it before it’s gone!
